  1. Parenting is the way you take care of a child. Parenting can be in different ways like raise a kid to be bad or nice or sweet. Parenting is like feeding the kid bathing the kid and making sure the kid gets rest. You have to keep the kid in clean clothes make sure the kid is safe at all times. The way you do your parenting will effect the child in different ways so make sure you do it right there isn't a redo.

  3. Parenting is when you take care of a kid and you raise them. You teach them what's right and wrong. You stay with the child through any kind of struggles you or they are having. Parenting is when you teach a child how to behave and act around people. You give them everything you can and try to be the best you can for the child

  4. Parenting is meeting a child's needs. An adequate parent does just this. A good parent not only does this but also teaches a child to be a good person. For example, an adequate parent will feed and water their child, make sure they have a place to live, maybe send them to school. A good parent teaches their children to read, share, communicate, etc.

  5. Parenting to me is, putting other peoples needs and wants above your own. You rid yourself of any selfish tendency's that you may have and make it all about your child. You learn how to take care of them the best way and do everything to help them grow. You grow as a person while they grow up, and it makes you a better person

  6. Parenting is an important key role within a child's life, and it is essential to illustrate good parenting skills to better your child and their development. Good parenting is biased and you have to form your own opinion on what is and isn't right. Parenting incorporates taking good care of your child, providing your child with it's basic needs, and teaching them how to behave once they get a little older. A newborn is fragile and relies on a good parent to feed them, bath them, and be able to put them to bed. Parenting is not optional and must be acknowledged. -Abby Oswald

  7. Parenting is very important to a child's life and their growth and development. Being a parent means to help a child learn and understand the things around them. When kids are little you ask them simple questions like what color they are looking at or their name, this is a big part of being a parent because it is helping them learn and remember simple things that will be present their whole life. Being a parent also means being a support system at all times. This means cheering them on at their games or helping them with homework. Parenting is being a figure that a child can rely on and learn from whatever the situation is. - Leah Pitts

  8. Parenting is raising a child and putting their needs before your own. It's not enough to just be a biological father or mother, you must take care of the child. It is feeding the child, changing the diapers, providing it with shelter. But also it's the little things too. It's trying to help them with their homework, even if you don't remember anything about the subject, and putting band-aids on them when they wreck their bike. It's disciplining them, when they need it. Being a parent is doing whatever it takes to make your child a better person and loving them unconditionally. Josie Ellis

  9. I think parenting is something everyone needs to know about. It is trying to give a kid a better life than you had. It is also knowing how to care for and raise a child and knowing how to raise them when they get older. You have to know how to treat them as a friend, but also make sure they know that you are not always going to be all fun and games. You have to let them know you are going to push them and make sure they are doing the right things.

  10. Parenting is how you help your child grow and develop into a member of society. Not just the act of having a child makes you a parent. A parent is the driving force behind a child's behavior as it grows up. A parent is responsible for instilling moral values, good behavior, proper decorum and polite attitudes towards people. Along with this, a parent is the prime source of education for a child before schooling. This means parenting involves teaching your child basic reading, writing and learning skills, as well as how to work and play well with others in a social environment. Being a parent includes providing a safe, stable environment for your child and raising it to be a functional member of society.

  14. Parenting is an experience that most everyone will go through. Parenting is an not always the best experience if not done right, by not having a steady job and being a single parent with no income. It also can be a even better experience if done right, by waiting till you have a career and married because having a partner eases the stress a lot.

  15. Parenting overall seems like a tedious process involving another living thing that I don't want anything to do with. Parenting involves things that I barely do for myself such as getting food.

  17. Parenting is a huge responsibility for anyone. Doesn't have to be any age, it takes a lot of money, time, and love to give to a child. Your gonna have doctor appointments for the child, that you will have to take off time for work. You're gonna have to pay for food, clothes, baby wipes, diapers, and more other things for the baby. Including yourself, bills, food, clothes, and ect. Being a parent means that you have to give unconditional love and that you have to care for it when ever it needs anything like being fed, changed, and bathed. Its a huge responsibility.

  18. What parenting mean to me is being fully responsible for a child. Whether it be your own child, an adopted child, or you're just the guardian of the child. With being a parent the child needs your full attention, time, and love. Being a parent means you are responsible for buying the clothes that the child needs to wear, buying the food that the child needs to eat, and the health of the child. Having a child is a huge step in life and a tremendous change. Having a child when you are young can be very stressful and interfere with school and work that you might have. To me being a parent means having a child WHEN YOU ARE FULLY COMMITTED AND READY to take on another living, breathing, human that you are completely responsible for and when you have time and money for the child.

  20. Parenting to me means being fully responsible for another human being or more. You should have a stable job and be able to provide a living environment. You should be able to talk to the child/children with care and support them with advise and their needs. You should show them love, all parents show their love different but the most important is through affection. You should tell your child/children that you love them and be there for them. You should not be their friend till they are old enough to provide for them selves. You are the parent, you need to step rules up that they need to follow. This does not mean you abuse or neglect the child if they do not follow the rules, but simply discipline through taking a toy or valuable item away from them to show them what is wrong and right.
